10 Things About Cathy, the Pooch

1. She is small (weights about 2lbs), with lots of grey hair in her once shinny black coat.
2. Her trademark ears are still held erected, even if she doesn't hear that well anymore.
3. Her tail isn't as sickle-shaped as it used to be. It's sad to she her with her tail between her legs.
   
4. Her nails were long, way too long, so this morning I brought her to our vet to have them clipped. No more "tick, tick, tick" when she walks around.
5. Her prominent eyes are, at times, glazed over. She is losing her sight.
   
6. She is completely lost, and wanders around endlessly. It's sad to see.
7. She sleeps a lot, and snores up a storm!
8. She can only be picked up very gently - she has a bunch of lumps all over...
9. She totally ignores our cat, keeps on walking by him with no interest whatsoever!
10. She has met the life expectancy of the Chihuahua with her 14 years ...
    

My first list of "Why is it?"

This list was kind of inspired, in its format, by "Don't Call me Ma'am". That day things got to me, and I wanted to know why people are so stupid at times.

Here's what I was venting about...

List of men I can think of...

OK, that's a very easy thing for me to do; think about men, come on!

Back in May (the 14th) I've made this list of the first 40 men I can think of... I could have made it to 50, but I stopped at 40.

But I will most likely do other lists, because men are like ...flowers (!?) they simply pop up everywhere and you can't help to enjoy their beauty...

On Thursday May 11th, I got assigned the letter D by "Guiness Girl". Thinking about this just now, it means that my first actual list was that one!

All about I

I am a good person despite the impression I might give.
I said too often what I thought without thinking about it before hand!
I want to live somewhere warm, year 'round!
I wish to loose weight and not think about it too much.
I hate to think that I have to see my mother-in-law, even if she’s teaching me tolerance.
I miss my dad more than I thought I would, funny how that is…
I fear crippy crawlies, all kind of bugs, especially spiders.
I hear birds chirping and I love that.
I wonder if there’s an after life worth going to...
I regret not having said “I love you” more often to my dad before he died, even if I know that he knew…
I am not a patient person.
I dance more when I’m alone than with people around me!
I sign all the time while driving, especially when there’s no traffic!
I cry every time I watch something sad on TV, at the movies, etc. – it’s pretty pathetic, especially these days!
I am not always the easiest person to be around – I shall work on that!
I made friends with people I didn’t think I would.
I write whenever I have something to say but can’t say outright.That way I think more about what I want to say and often I don’t tell the people, but I got it out of my system.
I confuse myself very easily with directions!
I need to let go of certain things from my past in order to move on and be in peace with myself.
I should be more careful of my health and of how I talk to people.
I start to see that I am getting older, and a part of me doesn’t like it too much, but another part of me doesn’t see it as a negative thing at all.
I finish everything that I start – there’s nothing more that I hate then “quitters”! Sometimes it takes a while but I do see it ‘til the end.

1. You have 10 bucks and need to buy snacks at a gas station, what do you get? Beef jerky, chips and something to drink (either water or a soft drink).

2. If you had to be reincarnated as some sort of sea dwelling creature, what would you be? Either a dolphin because they look like they have fun or a squid because I like the way they move!

3. Who is your favourite redhead? Grace (from “Will & Grace) or Bree (from “Desperate House Wife”).

6. Last CD you bought? Went in for the last INXS, came out with “Have A Nice Day” (Bon Jovi), “I’m Not Dead” (Pink) and “Jonas” (Jonas)… but no INXS!

8. Describe the last time you were injured: in a badminton tournament, my right knee gave out and I tore my ACL and meniscus – bad! And quite painful!

9. Of all your friends, with whom would you want to be stuck in the middle of a jungle with? My husband… but not because he’s so “handy”, but because I love him!

10. Are there any odd things that make you feel uncomfortable? Not really, except being "exposed" to my mother in law for too long!

11. Are there weird things that turn you on? a man's hands

12. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? Don’t really have one… it’s the generic one that came with the cell… an open road.

13. Favourite Soda? Iced cold Diet Coke!

14. Flavour of pudding? Chocolate!

15. What type of shirt are you wearing? Red T-shirt that says "Take a trip to... Honeysuckle Lake...for a midnight dip! Just around the bend, past Rainbow Falls".

16. Prescription medication? I’ve been off all meds for the last 2 months!!!

17. If you could use only one form of transportation for the rest of your life? If I’m not doing it: driving and for long distance: flying!

18. Most recent movie you've watched in a theatre? “Over The Hedge” - Hilarious!

19. Name 3 things you have on you at all times (besides in bed): Wedding ring, toe ring and watch.

20. Would you rather give or receive a foot massage? Receive by far!

21. Name a teacher you had the hots for: maybe Mr. Jamieson, my English teacher from high-school… Had a thing for blonds back then.

22. What is a saying that you use a lot? Oh well.

23. What is your favourite part of the chicken? The meaty parts! But I also like to nibble on the wings…

24. What's your favourite city? Anywhere but here!

25. Favourite kind of cake? Anything chocolate.

27. When was the last time you saw your mom in person? May 30th
